These maps (of many major cities) show where tourists take pictures and where locals take pictures. Tourists are in red; locals in blue.
Pictured here is San Francisco. The Orlando map is quite good as well—Orlando does a good job of keeping the tourists segregated from the city itself.
The New York Times collected photographs from readers all over the world, all taken at exactly the same moment, and combined them into this interactive globe of photographs.
